The infrastructure of National institute of technology Hamirpur is good. It is not so bad and not so nice. College have all necessary services like gym, library, two lecture holes, auditorium, admin block and separate building for all departments. In classroom fans , Black board, smart boards and cooling system is there. Campus is provided with internet service using student wifi. These all services are well maintained from the respective departments. There are 11(7B+4G) hostels .

I am studying engineering physics because I was very passionated about physics from my early days Teachers are well qualified and provide all type of help to students. The curriculum is a little older but overall it is ok . My branch is oriented towards higher studies and Research and development.

The placement scenario is quite good here. As you all know in today's time highest placements are offered by tech companies. Last year highest package was 1.51 cr per annum to a cse student.Average package ranges between 7 to 10 lakhs. College is supporting in placement.

My course cost 1.5 to 2 lakhs every year including hostel and mess charges. The fees is little higher but you can get scholarships based on your parental income. Giving this much money to college is worth it for me.

Our college campus is medium in size like we have all necessary infrastructure like gym , playground and library etc.campus life is quite enjoyable with friends. The supporting staff teacher and senior all are nice. Emergency like health problems can be handled by college hospital or by college ambulance.

Overall I will say getting nit Hamirpur with a decent branch like cse and ece is very good . People of nit Hamirpur are welcoming. Senior junior interaction are nice.every department delivers its best.

College infrastructure is very nice and you will definitely life the campus as it's one of the most beautiful campus in India. You will be able to see mountain from this campus and that view is amazing.

Yes this college's academics is nice, there are well qualified teachers with good experience of teaching the only thing is that we have to maintain 75% attendance to get full marks in internals, overall it's academic is good.

Most of the students get placed. The highest placement percentage is as usual from Computer Science and Engineering department but other departments also performs well and many of the students get placed.

Everything about my college is good the only thing is that it doesn't have any train connection train is till una station only after that you will have to travel via bus and many of people like me don't like traveling in bus.

The college contains all the necessary infrastructure with lecture hall and hostel ground student activity centres lab wifi in lecture hall and hostels and projector in class and the food is hygienic and there is proper cleanliness in the hostel as well as college

I am studying mechanical engineering the teachers are well educated and all are PhD fro renowned institutes but the only thing is there is a 75 percent attendence rule in the classes so it's the only bad part

The placement cell of the college is outstanding with about 85 percent of the students are placed in the placement with 173 lpa as the highest package in computer science and about 16 lpa as average package in CS and 8 lpa average in mechanical engineering and 36 lpa highest in mechanical engineering

The college is value for money as it provides the best placements stats and the college also provides good sports and extra curricular activities soit is value for money

The campus Life is really good as the college sometimes looks likes a hill station and provides every facilities a student wants

The college have great faculty and great exposure and great college culture in sports and study as well

Campus of national institute of technology hamirpur is of 320 acre and fully surrounded by greenry and all the basic facilities like different hostel for different years , hi tech lectures hall and lab can be improved in terms of equipment.

Academic here at national institute of technology hamirpur are same as that if other nits , and is well maintained in terms of industry experience. There are plenty of labs in course to get hands on experience.

Not too good but not bad either. It has everything which you dream off in an ideal college well not everything but you will have a great time exploring the campus and adding a lot of memories throughout your 4 years. Since it is surrounded by mountains environment is very clean and pure here.

I love National Institute of Technology ,hamirpur because the infrastructure of this college is too good including the classrooms, hostels, labs and the mess facility is also too good here . i am happy with the wifi speed the most.

The structure of the courses offered here is very upto the date.Most of the teachers are very highly qualified and also very supportive in nature when it comes to helping the students with their academics.

Placements at National institute of technology Hamirpur is pretty decent for circuital branches but for the core braches placements scenerio is not upto the mark.But anyone can appear in IT company interviews based on qualification his/her qualifications and merit.

Academic fee is around 75k per semester,but there are plenty of fee waiver schemes available based on the income criteria and category certificates.Hostel fee is around 60k for the whole year which is compulsory for all the hostelers.

Campus life at National Institute of technology Hamirpur is very good and fun at same time.the seniors here are very supportive and is ready to help any time. The hostel have a peer group to help you keep you motivated to do productive work and learn different types of tech skills.

College Infrastructure is really appreciable. It provide all basic facilities for its residents which include 12 Hostels (8 for Boys & 4 for Girls), residential quarters for professors, Big Central library , well maintained sports complex, Computer centre, Student Activity Centre, Meditation centre, Open Air Theatre, Cooperative Canteen, Nescafe, Amul, Verka, General Store, Hair Dresser etc and all the departments and labs are well equipped and well maintained.

Academics is Ok-Ok , not so good not too bad .Most of the professors ( almost 90%) have PhD and are very much knowledgeable about their respective fields however some of them teach really good while some don't. There is a strict 75% criteria of attendance , again it also depends upon professors some take it seriously and some don't. Classes take place between 8 A.M and 6 P.M from monday to friday , saturday and Sunday are holidays. So academics are quite manageable.

Placements of the college are also good . Majority of the companies are IT based , Consultancy firms and some core companies. The overall average of all the branches is around 10 -12 LPA and the average percentage of placement is about 80-85%. Amazon , Infosys, IBM, Capgemini, American Express , Reliance, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra ,L&T , Anglo Eastern Company, Oracle , Wipro etc are some of the major recruiters . Overall , NITH is a very good college to study at . The reasons for the downfall in its ranking include its poor connectivity due to its location, slow and bad administration, research culture (which is not very good here) and perception. Otherwise this college has so many good aspects to justify its importance ... after all it's an institute of national importance.
