Our hostel is very huge.Nearly it is sufficient for 2000 members. Wifi is available at any where in our campus. And it's speed is nearly 2 gb per second. We have library. And nitw is very well known for sports and games
Faculty provided is simply superb. Interaction with them is so pleasure. We felt very comfortable regarding lectures. The intent shown by faculty is nice. If you're willing to join in nit it will be best for you.
Nearly 120 companies recruit our students . Highest package offered last year is 53 lakhs per annum. And cse have best placements upto 95 percentage. The average salary is 18 lpa. Finally 90 percent of students will get jobs in campus placement.
NITW has good infrastructure like mega hostel (1.8k) for 1st years. We have decent lab equipments and all basic facilities. College WiFi is excellent in terms of speed, sometimes it will be slow. Coming to libraries, sport centres, hostels are good nothing to complain. Food for 1st year students 2 out of 5 rating and remaining year students 4 out of 5 rating . Everything is well-maintained , if there is an issue ,then it will dealt as soon as possible. Living spaces are clean and food is hygienic.
Academics are excellent in NITW. Professors are good at teaching and they are friendly towards students. Seniors help juniors not only in academics but also other stuff. As I am CSE student , I felt that PSCP professors ( first years ) are not extraordinary and professors for second, third and fourth years are too good. I think we should not have labs until offline sem. What professors teach is okay to get a job , but to get good package they learn more stuff.
In NITW , placements are outstanding. In 2020 ,placements are 100 percentage and the highest salary package offered is around fifty one lakhs , I do not know exact figure and it is for a EEE student. The average salary offered for a National Institute of Technology Warangal student is around thirteen lakhs . I do not know about placement process because I am first year student. I guess college is supportive , which was confirmed from a outgoing senior who got good job and a good salary 15 lakhs.
It is less compared with many esteemed private institutes. It nearly costs two to three lakhs per year. I feel my money is getting some worth because National Institute of Technology Warangal provides almost everything for their students in terms of academics which is far better than many private institutes who charge very high than NITW.
As I am in first year , studying in online sem , i do not know about campus life. My seniors told it's excellent . About its location, warangal, a very good place . I hope to have a offline sem to enjoy my college life.
Yeah it has everything like auditorium (AC), central library which is one of the largest equipped with ebooks, Innovation garage where you can discuss your ideas and get help for your startups. We also have good labs for everything and above all one of the biggest hostel in Asia where 1.8k students can stay at a time .Everything is there like wifi ,smart board and they are used frequently. Hostes are well maintained and you should not expect much from hostel food.
First year is common for everyone, we have to study subjects related to all branches. After first year you can change your branch of you score well(very less chances like only 4 seats per branch).I am a Computer science student so I can say that computer science faculty is very very experienced and up to date . They know everything like what is trending currently, which subject is more helpful for students and their experience makes us very much comfortable with studies .
NITW is doing greatly in placements that's why many students tend to join here over other nits though they rank good in NIRF. The percentage of students placed was 90%. The highest package was 53lpa for a guy from EEE branch but he got placed in software job only. The average salary was 13.5% overall and 20 lpa for cse branch. Many recruiters prefer NITW over other colleges so it's not a big deal to get placed , and the placement team is also very supportive.
Since I don't any fee waiver I have to pay ₹125000 per year . I don't regret paying that much because if you study well you can get back your tution fee as merit scholarship which is very much motivating to me .The facilities ,labs,e classes everything is good so I don't regret to pay that much per an year
Being a college of National Importance,NITW provides good infrastructure, laboratories, equipment and facilities to its students. The Central library,Ambedkar learning Centre(best place for lectures by popular personalities) ,NAB(venue for all club events and also for regular classes),Auditorium(for audi nights and all other celebrations) are few best places in the campus .
NITW has a top-notch faculty (just like many other IITs and NITs ) ,who provide best of their knowledge and always encourage and support their students to come out with flying colours. The curriculum followed is updated regularly and include all important changes that take place in the respective fields of study.
NITW has a good record in terms of placements(core and non-core).Most of the students(about 90%) get placed with a good average package.A significant number of students fetch a chance to get into some of the top most companies.CCPD functions as a great platform for placements.
The tuition fee is around 65k for a semester. The faculty, infrastructure, exposure and amenities provided by the college are worth the fee paid.
Times Square is considered to be the best hangout place for many students.Food street and Auditorium are some other frequently visited places. The DJ nights and movie nights in the auditorium are fun.The campus being at the heart of the city, the life outside campus is also said to be too good. The TV towers for sunrise and Wadepally lake for sunsets are the things which everyone do not want to miss. There are around 31 clubs in the college which students can join for their overall development.
Being an online semester,I could not get opportunity to explore campus life. But according to the seniors, the campus life is fun and filled of memories.I can strongly agree with my seniors who said that choosing NITW over other NITs/IITs is the best decision and one can never regret that .
the campus has many splendid sights and hangout places. we have got good equipment in terms of the labs and got a gym and good physical education equipment and even in an online semester, we got physical education classes. the 1.8k hostel is great for first-year students.
academics have always been great in nit Warangal from its start and professors are so friendly and really care about students and their mental health. despite pandemic, academics have been outstanding. even seniors will help us in academics.
placements are always good in nit Warangal almost 80 to 90% place in their respective courses. and every year NITW beat its personal best in terms of placement. ccpd provides students to make their best in placements.
everybody knows nits and IITS costs less than many premium institutes of India and provide good academics than many private institutes.
as it is an online semester I can not tell you about campus life but according to seniors it's outstanding and hope when it's offline we can experience good campus life.
Wi-Fi is good and has high-speed 24x7. Labs are of good quality. Classrooms are typically old-fashioned. The library is one of the biggest in India. The hostel for 1st years is really awesome. Mess food depends on the caterer, and both veg and non-veg food are provided. There is a dispensary on campus.
here the most of the professor are very helpful.Teaching Ability are fabulous..The teachers are highly qualified and have lots of experience in their fields. They are adaptable to technology. They are equipped with lots of resources. They should focus more on providing practical knowledge.
90% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 51 LPA, the lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 20 LPA. Atlassian, Uber, Goldman Sachs, Arcesium, Samsung Research and Development, etc., came here for placements. 80% of students got internships in DE Shaw & Co., Microsoft, Uber, Arcesium, Goldman Sachs etc. The roles offered are software development intern, data analyst, application development intern etc.
Life at NITW is so much exciting. Although, it is a bit stressful during exams but before it, we are the kings of our own world. The Class schedule is well-managed that keeps us away from boredom. We are provided with very good hostels and mess facilities

All the infrastructure is nice, with good number of labs etc , we have good bandwidth WiFi and Lan, also so many playgrounds and coaching stuff, even food is quiet good and hygiene. Also the living places are kept clean very often
Academics is good, but the Institute expects a lot of work from the student side, it's more like they give the guidance not everything, and for job as I mentioned above, student has to commit himself giving more time on self preparation so as to achieve their goals
Good placements are going on, and it's increasing year by year, college is more supportive in guiding us the right path, we have good number of sessions about these placement and internship stuff. Also we can expect a good package at the end of all the hardwork.
Of-course, the college has everything, sports, education, research, extra curricular activities, arts etc.
Student can engage in as many as activities he wants, there are many clubs, authorized by respective staff members . We can spend quite a lot time in clubs. All the supporting staff of good, students are cooperative. When it comes to emergencies, there is a hospital inside the campus, also of there is any critical issues, we may be transferred to another hospital outside the campus.
Extraordinary infrastructure, especially newly built ones,,it's an eye feast for everyone to gaze at,and many new buildings are built which are inaugurated by honble central minister's,, and 1.8k hostel is the second largest in india,,and new 1.7k girls hostel would be inaugurated soonnn..
Quality of education is at its zenith, professor's are outstanding over here,,If one has the sense of perception towards knowledge gaining, they will make u give ur best,,and that is conspicuous...........
Placements are nice,,and gradually the avg package of the individual in the campus is getting increased year by year,,no worries regarding placements, and the end most of the students (95%), will get placed.
Ofcourse they charge according to the parents income,,I think it's a bit expensive,,but it's worth it.
Campus Life is extremely beautiful,,adorned by academics, sports,, greenery, dj nights ,clubs, times square,,and a lot more and more ,one can feel the essence of life being in university,,, simply superb...
If u get an entry to NITW,never loose it,,it will change ur life.
Our college has good lab facilities but the equipment used in some of the labs are old. Classroom teaching includes projector as well as white board. Recently smart boards ,to which bluethooth can be connected, are also being installed. Food is hygienic and clean. Hostels are cleaned by sweepers but sometimes the regularity is not maintained.
Professors are highly qualified and maintain good discipline in time and grading. Grading is done in a highly efficient and complicated pattern using the bell curve algorithm. Latest developments and skills are provided by the professors as a course/webinars to the interested students.
Placements are managed by Training and Placement cell in the college and it has very good record for maintaining high percentage of placements in B.Tech. In EEE,almost 90% students get placed and according to the recent records the highest package is 52LPA. And the average package is around 15LPA
College fee for an OC candidate is Rs 62500/per semester and hostel and other fee also sum up and it costs around 1.75 lakh per year.So I feel the amount is high but however there is access to everything that is needed.Library facilities and lecturer availability are not compromised.
Campus is the safest place consistibg of around 250 acres of land. It is filled with greenary and there are places like Times Square and food street where all of the students hang out and have fun.Time square is place infront of administration building and that is the place where everyone sit in groups and enjoy in the evenings. DJs are also arranged in the time square sometimes. Movies are played in the Auditorium building and it is a great feel to watch movie with all the friends together.
Hey Swetha:)
Thanks for reaching out!
Since your brother already has an NIT Warangal seat from JoSAA and in CSAB round 1 he got NIT again (even it wasn't in your filled options) withdrawing from CSAB will not make him lose the JoSAA seat. That seat will only be cancelled if he gets and accepts a different seat through CSAB.So,If he's fine keeping the current seat,he can withdraw safely. If he still wants to try for a better seat,he should stay in CSAB further rounds, there's no risk for the JoSAA seat unless a new seat is accepted.
Hope this clarifies your query!
Hi dear candidate,
You have got good score and a decent rank in your JEE exam. With the rank of 37570 and general category, there are possible chances for your admission in NIT Warangal. However, the CSE and AI/ML are very competitive branches as compared other ones like Mechanical, Electrical etc.
You should still try to wait till 2nd round of seat allocation. For the best estimation of college according to your rank, check with our college predictor:

Dear Candidate ,
With the information given , it is highly unlikely that you will get any branch in NIT Warangal . The closing ranks for OBC-NCL candidates at NIT Warangal across all branches are much lower - for example CSE closes around 900 , ECE around 3,100 and even less competitive branches like Mechanical and Civil close below 6,000. Given this , your rank does not meet the cutoff criteria for any branch there .
