the infrastructure is good and college campus is well equipped with basic amenities such as bank post, office, general store, canteen etc. Classroom is having sophisticated audio and visual facilities that help the lecturer to provide an all round experience and knowledge not just limited to textbooks.
i am a 3 rd year undergraduate at lit Indore and pursuing bachelor of technology focused on metallurgical engineering and material science .According to me the classroom experience is up to the mark and the professor provide a research based teaching curriculum which is very interesting and relevant to the industry.
Most of the students after complition of their course prefer pursue a doctorate (research)course, while those who want to enter to industry are decently placed .companies include Hero motor cars, IOCL etc
As per me the tuition fees demanded by college is very nominal, also the accomodation and food charges are very low.
A huge campus with multiple cultural activiteies to have fun and explore!
The infrastructure is new and great with picturesque viewpoints all across the campus. There are many new blocks and buildings including the library facilities, the lecture hall complexes and laboratories.
The academics is great, thanks to the good faculties and professors who are experienced and well versed in teaching. Most of the professors here have done PhDs from abroad and esteemed universities from India as well.
The placements at IIT Indore are great. As Pithampur is a industrial hub it provides ample of opportunities for all the students to sit for placements and bag on campus placements of high stature and prestige.
As it is government funded the value for teachings are really low.
There is a vast area of student activities, both in cultural and technical fields.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment and is constantly growing. Wifi is reliable, excellent security present for hostels, and state of the art laboratories are present.
There are quite a few dedicated teachers and are very helpful and approachable. The curriculum is regularly updated to keep up with the recent developments. Various field trips are organized for the MEMS branch which gives us insight into the demands of the industry.
Placements for CS and EE are great, whereas, for the rest of the branches, they could be better. The highest salary package went to the CS branch and nearly all of the CS students get placed. The opportunities for the EE branch are decent too.
The culture is great and I got to learn a lot from seniors as well as my batchmates.
The experience is great and various opportunities are provided to explore different fields.
Great college.
Institute has all the necessary facilities and equipments. As the newly constructed buildings have ample facilities with wifi, projectors in every class. Food quality is good and the living spaces are cleaned daily.
I am pursuing Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science and the quality of teaching is good. The faculties are well educated and the methods of teaching are good. We have ample labs for each course and that makes us industry ready.
Quality of placements is okayish. Almost above 75% students are placed and for CSE, Electrical students the number is very high. Highest packages are bagged by CSE students majorly. Major firms were Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw etc.
One semester cost us about 1 lakh and I guess this is what other IITs take. Value for money is good.
This is considered to be the best. We have the best hostels so far. Location is in Simrol and it is safe. For emergencies we have 2 ambulances working 24×7.
Overall Experience is good. With a 500 acre campus we can enjoy every bit of it and also with a good study and activity culture, there is nothing to regret.
Yes. The college is well equipped with the necessary infrastructure and facilities. A lot of importance is given to lab instruments and technicalities. Talking about the classrooms, they are very well maintained and modern. We have sports facilities such as badminton courts, volley ball courts, basketball courts, football and cricket grounds. There is a different central library and lecture halls and the infrastructure is getting better.
I am pursuing B tech in Metallurgical and material sciences. The quality of teaching is good. Yes the curriculum is updated every few years. To be job ready you should work hard externally along with the courses which you have already taken.
The placements have been average in this branch. You need a very firm knowledge about the technical stuffs. Talking about the non core placements, the placement percentages are ever increasing. The highest percentage of placements occur in Cse branch. Average salaries as high as 15 lakhs. The college is very supportive.
About more than a lakh per semester. The hostel and accommodations are very good here. Yes the money is worth it.
The campus life is extremely pleasant and the campus is very beautiful. Students here are very supportive of each other and there is a very fun and learning atmosphere.
Best hostles , high speed WiFi in every place of the campus and well sports activities, developing infrastructure , clean campus. There is clean and big classroom with AC, a good lecture Hall complex.
Great professors with helping nature and active academic. Professors are pretty good for all the students they provide necessary study materials and guidance to all us. Our academic staff is also providing us necessary information regarding our studies.
There is a good placement Invironment. Every year average 60-80% students get placed. In the year of 2018-2019 the average placement of iiti is 19 LPA . There are many companies visiting every year to iiti such as Amazon, snapdeal, tata-motors, cisco and many more..
3.5 lac per year including all facilities I'm paying to my Institute. But there is a scholarship scheme so that we can get back some amount of money.
Very friendly Invironment in our campus between juniors seniors and professors. Also there is a great security staff, house keeping staff and many food facilities including all types of food.
Living spaces are cleaned thoroughly from time to time and hygiene is maintained in every aspect.Central library has been newly constructed and it has lots of collections of books and access to many journals. Sports tournaments are conducted on regular basis and good space has been allocated for practicing them.
Professors here have very good education background be it interms of universities they studied or research they are involved in etc. Teaching has been good and subjects are being updated based on the requirements of the respective fields in real case scenario.
In this branch , this is the first placement session and it's been affected by CoVid 19.but hopefully some subjects were adjusted so that they are suitable to the industry.more suited for research oriented.
This course costed nearly 70k per year and checking it's worth in campus , it has been good enough be it the hostel or dining facilities or classrooms. And more buildings are being constructed to expand the fields of expertise.
Institute is located away from city around 90mins journey from indore. Basically its surrounded by villages , away from the pollution. Teachers are supportive and provide any kind of help if necessary. Medical facilities are outstanding as they are more importance here and separate ambulance is present which makes regular trips to major hospitals in indore city.
Yes, our college has a very good infrastructure. WiFi and classrooms are well maintained. The living spaces are clean and food is hygienic. Our laboratories are well maintained. Sports centre is yet to be constructed.
I am an undergraduate in Metallurgy and Materials Science stream. The quality of teaching is good. Yes, the curriculum is updated and also includes the recent developments in the field considering the suggestions and reviews of the erstwhile students and also the staff.
The quality of placements are good. Maximum number of students are placed in various MNC's from branches like Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and less in case of other branches. The highest salary offered was 1.7 cr per annum .
Yes. Institution has necessary infrastructures like library, labs, sports, gym, canteens etc . The class rooms are not quite good as expected. But bow new class rooms are builted thore are highly standard class rooms. And all the facilities are really awesome. Yes, all the places are clean and hygiene.
I am studying Astronomy by enthusiasm. But the quality of teaching was not I expected before joining the institution. Yes, the updates are regarding whole structure of the course are well maintained time to time.
Actually I am beginning of the student. I don't know particularly. Since last year's 70 percent of people getting placements here. Anout the salary actually I didint know. But, the expected salary will come for the iitis I hope so.
Yeh. Absolutely value for money. Event though you have to much money for 6grade student in this situation. But IIT provide provides better opportunities with our money to explore the nation. I definitely satisfied with the money value.
The campus life was really good. You can get good friends and enemies as you want. And you can tie all your emotions in your pocket. We already know students will help most we didn't expect as much. But the professors are maintaining therir decorum here.
Beeter to join IIT not only this any IIt is beeter standards.
Well when it comes to college infrastructure indian institute of technology indore has best among all IITs. we have all necessary facilities in our classes and extraordinary facilities in our labs. And they are well maintained. And when we talk about the hygien at our living spaces and mess is very excellent.
I'm studying postgraduation in chemistry. And quality of teaching at IIT Indore is good . Teachers are always available for you . you can contact them easily and get in touch with them. teachers are really good and helpful.
well i'm from postgraduation side ,so most of our time spend in lab only. we don't get much company for ourseleves . Because main focus of palcement coordinators are on Btech student . so i can say it;s bad for post graduation student.
yes
well campus life is outstanding .
Hello Ayushi,
With a GATE score of 402 in the OBC category, securing admission to M.Tech programs in Biotechnology at IITs may be challenging. For instance, IIT Delhi's 2022 cutoff for Biomedical Engineering was 650 for OBC candidates.
It's advisable to check the specific admission criteria of each IIT and consider applying to multiple institutions to increase your chances.
Hope it helps !
Scoring 140 marks in Part A of UCEED 2025 is a great achievement. To assess your chances of getting into an IIT, let's look at the previous year's cutoffs.
In UCEED 2023, the cutoffs for the general category were:
- IIT Bombay: 1-16
- IIT Guwahati: 17-59
- IIT Hyderabad: 21-53
- IIITDM Jabalpur: 55-93
Considering your score, you might have a good chance of getting into IIT, especially if your drawing marks are decent. However, please note that the cutoffs can vary from year to year.
To give you a better idea, the mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2025) are 61.50 and 25.69, respectively. The cutoffs for Part-A marks to shortlist candidates in the OPEN category will be calculated based on these values.
Keep in mind that the final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of Part A and Part B. So, it's essential to perform well in the drawing section as well.
I recommend checking the official UCEED for the latest updates on cutoffs and merit lists.
