Indian institute of technology patna is situated in patna somewhere area which is coming under Bihta.Campus is big our in outer area of patna main market.If we have to purchase something for our daily use we have go to approx more than five kilometres from the college.

I am interested in civil engineering so I enrolled in masters of technology from this stream.The curriculum is designed well and talking about the professors no doubt they are amazing.I enjoyed each moments in college time.

Talking about the placement our college provides good opportunities to everyone who enrolled there.Many companies visited there for the placement and provides intership opportunities to students.College faculties also guide us .

You should go for this college.

Iit patna has a good infrastructure and having all the facilities that makes ur survival comfortable. The only thing that is not good here is hostel wifi. Yes the living places, cafes, food are clean and hygienic.

I am here for chemical science and technology and I hope it will be a blessing to my career. The quality of teaching is good but u have to work on you by yourself.the faculty and Seniors are there to help u .

I am first year now. So I can't tell you much about placement.but I heard that this year highest package was 84lpa from cse batch.Around 90% are students are placed in every branch. And yes iit patna is supportive in every field.

Tbh, any btech course cost around 2 lakh per year. Yes I feel it will be worthy in future.I will get a good placement that will make it worthy.And the life and the lessons that u will learn here is much more than money.

What to say about campus lifer here. Anyone will fatin love with this. There are uncountable activities to keep u busy and make u constructive. People think that it is in bihta, patna so it will not be safe but it's completely wrong.the campus is equipped with full security guards .

Not only a place to study but the best place for overall development.

Yes infrastructure have all necessary facilities and well maintained . The facilities like classrooms have smartboard , laboratories , library , sport centre and canteen are well maintained and hygienic . The campus are clean.

I did btech from Indian institute of technology Patna. I want to do engineering because I have keen interest in this field and I want to become a well engineer in future. The quality of teaching is so nice and well professional.

The placement of my college is quite excellent for my course. And the placement percentage is about 34% and the average package of placement is approximately 9LPA which is so good for an engineer student.

The cost of one semester is about 1 lakh and for year is 2 lakh which is quite high but worthy.

Campus life is so relax and calm and the teachers , staff are so cooperative and supportive.

Overall great experience and I thought it's a best option for engineers.

The hostel has all the basic facilities including a washing machine, water cooler, and other basic amenities. Meal quality is also very good. The registration process for the Hostel starts on the first day of arrival and it's quite affordable.

I've chosen this course as it is a circuital branch hence a lot of scope in terms of internship and placements. Faculties and TAs are very helpful also they are very good at doubt-solving. The student-faculty ratio is around 50:1.

Campus placements are really awesome in our college, 23.8 LPA is an overall average package. For the electrical department, 25 LPA is the average. Many big companies come to our college like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, etc.

The fees structure is pretty organized like for a general IIT in India. Per semester fees are around 145000. Many scholarships are also available category-wise, gender-wise, and financial-wise. The cost of the study is quite sustainable.

Some of the annual fests are Anwesha, Celesta, Infinito, TedX, and many more. Books are available in the physical library as well as in the digital library. Some of the social for coding, and many more.groups are Hoot Club, Njack for coding, and many more.

Iit patna has a best infrasturcture among all second and third generation iits. Iit patna is fast growing iit and many things like central library, lecture hall is under construction and will be completed within a year. There are three boys hostels and one girls hostel and hostels have each and every facility like wi-fi, water cooler, washing machine, etc. There are few canteens present within campus which are function at night also.

I am pursuing computer science and engineering from iit patna. Teachers in iit patna are very friendly and supportivr throughout four years of this beautiful journey. The course structure and curriculum is designed in such a way that makes student jod ready and also focuses on overall personality development.

The college has awesome placement record especially for computer science branch average package was 38 lakhs per annum last year. The highest package was also recorded from CS branch and package was 1.4 crores per annum. Training and placement cell of iit patna is very supportive and help students to grab their dream job.

I am very happy with the college infrastructure. New hostel rooms were alloted to 2022 batch students. There are good facilities for any sports you wanted to play, each and everything is provided by institution, also medical facilties are there in college.

Metullargy and materials engineering is one of the most demanded branch in today's industries and have very good future. Hence, i choosed this branch, also this branch is easy as compared to other core branches and has better placement opportunities.

Metullargy is considered as one of the lower branch of engineering but it has better placement records than some of the top branches like mechanical, civil ,etc. Average package of metuallargy is 18 lakhs per annum higher than other core branches.

College fulfills all my expectation, it has everything inside the campus. Pollution free, clean and well maintained 500 acres campus with high class facilties. One problem is mess food is not good in taste and does not have variety due to which many students eat from canteens.

I am pursuing my bachelor of science in mathematics and computing from iit patna. Mathematics and computing is a branch that has huge importance in modern world so i choosed this field. Our course is designed such that it covers 70% syllubus of mathematics and 30% computer science

Mathematics and computing is the new branch established in iit patna in 2021 because of great demand in industry. Average salary of iit patna for students placed in IT sector is more than 25 lakhs per annum.

Facilities provided by iit patns includes hostels with clean and properly maintained rooms, mess with well defined menu which includes all the nutrious and tasty diet, modern classrooms, incubation center, sports grounds, etc.

I started coding in class 9 and developed great interest in competative programming with time, so i decided to choose computer science and engineering in iit patna. Academics is very chill here as compared to other iits, there are less project and assingments in second and third year.

Quality of placements at iit patna is best and improving at its fastest rate. Average salary offered to student of iit patna was 26 lakhs per annum in 2022 and highest package was from computer science branch of 1.2 crore per annum(domestic).

IIT Patna is ranked 33 in NIRF ranking and infrastructure of iit patna is one of the main reason for placing below in NIRF ranking. There are not proper hostels for students , rooms are very small and three students needs to share single room. Other than that hospital which is present inside the campus does not have enough qualified doctors and required equippments.

Coding culture in iit patna is great. There are clubs dedicated to coding and there are well qualified professors with huge experience who help students to get to their goal. Courses are designed in such a way which covers all the important things required for placements.

Placements of iit patna is decreased in 2023. Average package of iit patna is 20 lakhs per annum in 2023 whereas it was 28 lakhs per annum in 2022. Only 90% of students got placements this year in top companies like google, amazon, microsoft,etc.

First when i saw the campus and hostels i got very dissappointed that i have choosed wrong college because it was situated far away from main city and hostels were on contruction, many facilties were missing but with time things got change and now new hostels is alloted to us with almost all facilties. Also new library and lecture hall is established two months back.

I am student of mechanical department abd the reason of choosing this branch was i had good interest in robotics. This college provides you excellent opportunities and knowledge that helps you to get to your dream job.

Placement of mechanical core does not have many opportunities but there are various other sectors like finance, IT, education which offers great jobs and packages. Average paxkage of our department is between 15-20 lakhs per annum.
