College is located in the center of the city with the college and the hostel facilities for all the students. Major students are occupied in the hostels which have the medical and playground facilities for the students.

Academics of the college consist of all the specialization related subjects and courses which helps in the overall development .Faculties are really helpful and provide all the resources to the students.

Placement in the college stats in the fourth year of the college . Internship is compulsory for all the student in the third year . All the student are basically have the classes on the placement season and details.

The department is housed in a state of the Art2-storey building with adequate infrastructure and air conditioning classrooms the hostel infrastructure is also great. library is present in the campus with sufficient books. Sports facilities are also available in the campus.

I’m currently a student of MBA to understand the business aspects. All the faculty are well qualified and best in their field some of them are top 2% in the world by Harvard university. Faculty ratio is about to 1:3 which is great and quality of teaching are also good. curriculum are also well updated with the recent development in the field.

Every year 100% placement is occurs recent placement data is 18.34LPA is the average placement and highest placement is 27.94LPA. 37% of students got PPO and placement process is pleasant for every student and college is also very supportive.

Total fee for 2 year is nearly around 10 lakh which is quite high for some students.

Campus environment is great as it a huge campus situated in roorki various activities occurs in the campus.

IIT Roorkee have well maintain infrastructure, have two lecture hall complex one is old and other is newly formed but both are equiped AC. Hostel also have new infrastructure but some have old infrastructure because manly hostel is old.

This year IIT Roorkee changed academic curriculum and improved curriculum towards more industrial and add course more AI and DSAI course in non circuital branch. Faculties also highly qualified but some are strict they fix 75% attendance criteria for sit in examination whereas some are very chill.

IIT Roorkee have best placement max pacakage offered is 1.75 cr per year and mini is 11 lpa whreras averagw pacakage is 19 lpa overall. And in chemical highest pacakage is 47lpa whereas min is 15lpa and average pacakage 19 lpa.

Return of investment in IITs are more better the other college total fee of IITs is 11-12 lakhs if your parent have income above than 5 lakhs whereas if your family income is less than 1 lakh than fee will be 4 lakhs, 8 lakhs tuition fee will be free whereas for income 1 to 5 lakhs then fee will be 7lakhs.

Campus life chill we enjoy our four year here with our friends. Here mostly student sleep at 3-4 am means enjoy whole night but remember everyone have their own priorities like mostly students not everyone do some students give priorities to academics and developing new skills.

IITs and IITian have social status so we need to try for this, but remember that IITs are not everythings in your life, IITs are only part of your life.

At IIT Roorkee, all types of facilities are provided in all types of categories, such as academic to sports, and all types of labs are present in college, so practical knowledge was also good for college students.

I am studying in the civil engineering department, quality of teaching at IITR is very good, and professors at IIT are highly qualified and have excellent knowledge of their subjects IIT provides you with a lot of exploring options, so the curriculum is updated.

The placement quality at IIT Roorkee is quite good; approximately (92-93%) of students were placed in good companies, one computer student grabbed 2.15 crore Highest campus placement, and the average salary offered was 16-17 lac per annum.

Course fee per semester is about 1.5 lac, the money we are providing to IITs facilities and infrastructure are very good and the quality of education is well enough.

At IIT Roorkee, the best feature is coding culture, and there are many campus groups and social groups like technical groups, culture groups, social groups, etc. I am also a part of the HEC group of IIT Roorkee, and it was my best experience to be part of this group.

It jas all thr necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The labs are well equipped for experiments, the classes are well maintained, has projectors and the space is well maintained and cleaned.

The courses in the chemical engineering branch are sort of old school. The professors are good but as all the colleges they have an orthodox teaching pattern. There is curriculum to integrate modern development with the existing courses, they do try to keep it updated.

Any one who prepared and sat for placements was placed. The average salary was above 10lpa and most of the people were having a job by the end of the placement season. Most of the jobs were in software domain, but for people who wanted to go into core, they also got a decent placement.

Campus life is lit. There are so many groups you can be part of, learn whatever you want to and there is so much possibilities for exploring.

Roorkee has got the best infrastructure among all IIT'S. I have been to some other IIT like Powai and BHU but Roorkee wins it hands down. Well maintained Mess hostels labs and libraries. Food is the best .

Acads wise Roorkee is quite good but it needs to update its curriculum in tune with Induztry 4.0. Though it is revising its syllabus but the change needs to be faster as the technology is changing overnight.

Placements is certainly good. In our time placements were generally in the traditional manufacturing sector as IT revolution had not taken place but with the IT revolution the sakary has gone through the roof.

It is definitely value for money. In our time the course fee was peanut vis a vis now but with the CTC currently being offered even todays fees appears less. All thanks to IT revolutuon the fees is certainly value for money.

Campus life is really rocking in Roorkee.There are so many events happening in the campus . Professors are really enthsiastic lot and if the student is active he/she will definitely enjoy the campus life .

Four years spent at IIT ROORKEE was certainly the best years of my life. The friends I made are friends for life. We still frequenly have get togethers.

Yes, it has all necessary facilities and all are well maintained. Living spaces are clean & the food is also hygenic. It has air conditioned classrooms, centralised library, well developed sports center and spacious hostels.

The teachers are good, the quality of teaching is good and it provides a lot of exposure to the students, thus making job ready. The curriculum is up to date and it has all facilities that remain up to date.

Placements are good. All students were placed and the placement process was easy & pleasant. College was very supportive. A good bunch of companies came for recruitments and the average salary offered was somewhere around 10 LPA.

Yes, the cost was value for money since it’s a government institution. The fees was 50000 per semester.

Good infrastructure with all major facilities , good wifi , very well furnished library, beautiful campus, have multi-activity center with large auditorium , also nice hostel rooms with sufficient water supply

Professors are nice as per behaviour and teaching perspective, Good syllabus coverage , timely exams, promotes multiple aspects of learning rather than just the syllabus. Well defined syllabus and good teaching methodology

A variety of companies visit campus every year including big tech giants and also startups. Majority of the students get jobs from the software development profile and business development profile from all branches.

I had best exposure of the time in Lab and Sports. Food and living spaces are so neat and clean.Gardeners are the second group of people other than professors to be sincere in this campus. The infrastructure was the best of its time.

I was doing my MTech in Hydrology. I feel it was the best I got. My professor used to give a space after any equal sign before putting the equation. Than he puts the plus or minus sign with proper clarification. They are so sincere that they even request us to allow them to take some extra time for clarification. No overburden no homework. All classwork only..

I was a government sponsored candidate. Almost all of the students studying with us were properly placed. I don't remember the salary of that time as I was an government sponsored candidate. But I remember we were having parties every week on their recruitments.

I dont remember as I was sponsored . It must be affordable as some Asian , Russian and African students were withus.

Very cool but exciting. I have never seen or came across any strike or any agitation during my stay from 1994 to 1996. Night campus life was marvelous of that time. Any time was party time for us.

College provides sufficient resources and infrastructure for catering necessary requirements of every student. Research facilities are also up to the mark. Laboratories are well equipped and libraries filled with plethora of books in every field. Hostels and LHCs are well maintained and provide a great study environment.

I am studying Mechanical and Industrial engineering here. Known for it's academic excellence, the college stands up to the mark in providing excellent teaching lessons and training. Professors aim at providing latest information in easy-to-comprehend manner so that students can relate and apply the knowledge provided in practical. It makes a student job ready in every aspect.

Placement seasons provide optimum opportunities in every field of your choice, related to engineering. Job offers are more than satisfactory with major MNCs and startups attending the placement drives every year. Many of the all time high packages (domestic and overseas) are from this college. Major percentage of the students are placed, most of the unplaced ones being interested either in entrepreneurial fields or research.
