The collage infrastructure is too good. Most of the buildings where new and having to a perfect facilities. Collage main buildings have wifi facilities but don't call it too have full wifi campus. The college have lot of greenary which makes our mind too live there happy and healthy.
The Faculty is brilliant, most of them being VNIT alumnus themselves have a sense of responsibility and immense knowledge of the Subjects. For Design we have 4 hour long studios where the faculties attend each an every one of us individually and guide us
Excellent. The training and placement cell of the college takes good care for the placements of the student. With companies like LnT, Infosys, Groffers, Jindal, Wipro etc coming for campus drives, getting a job wouldn't be difficult.
The fees offered by collage where too much as compared to other collages.i don't feels too get my money worth.
There are many extracurricular activities going on in the college over the year.We have Departmental gathering, Institutional gathering, Freshers, many different sports competition, dance competition, singing competition etc.We have different technical workshops also for one day.
VNIT campus is very beautiful. Departmental buildings are somewhat old because it's one of the oldest NITs. But classrooms are new. They are big, with best premium speakers. Every major club has their own private place (room, hall or shade ). There are two banks within campus and post office. IIM Campus is inside VNIT campus.
College authority gives more important to academics than any extra curricular activities. Proffs are good. Some are very friendly. Some are rude (as obvious). Courses get updated. Seniors told me that some extra programming languages are going to add in branches like ECE, eee.
Placements of VNIT are better than many of the NITs. Average package is around 6lpa and highest salary goes around 25-30 lpa most of the year. Placements of CSE and MECH are best. ECE students get placed mostlyin IT companies. TnP is improving every year and are bringing more opportunities for students.
Whole campus is lush green and highly maintained and beautiful. 1st year students have many rules. 1st year hostel is new and has lift, TT table, carrom board and much more. VNIT has 3 canteens making night life wonderful. New extra football ground get inaugurated this year. Really you will never regret your choice.
If i talk about the infrastructure, it is overall good but there in Wi-Fi inside the campus even in the Research Lab. Hygiene level is quite good here. The canteens, libraries, hostel, sports center are very well maintained.
As i am a research student here, i do some of the course work, and the quality of lectures delivered by the professors are good to understand the complexity of the subject. There are distincts sort of subjects which are really helpul for your higher studies.
I have no idea of placement of the campus. But on considering the conversation with B. Tech students, placement offers are good with fruitful salaries. The overall process for the placement is set for all the students, so that every one can get a chance yo be part of it.
I have to spend around 96,000 rupees for a year including academic fees and the mess fee. Being a government college, i have to admit that it is not value for money as the facilities are not very fulfilled.
The campus life is good, the location, the security is too good. You don't have to go far to busy essential stuff. You can also enjoy in the campus by playing some activities. Students have lot to do with the cultural activities like fest and events and many more.
Campus is too good and if you wanna study here, you can join here for the brighter future.
My college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. AC, projector, WiFi, and they all used and well maintained. Living space are very clean and the food hygienic too. College provide us 1Gb data daily for the students .
I am studying PGDM as it is very much practical program. Our curriculum is updated and included all the recent developments. Practical knowledge and facilities guide make us job-ready. Mentor who are alloted to the students are very supportive.
Placements is quite a like good. Highest was 15.2 lakhs last year and average was around 5-6 lakhs. It is directly proportional to your efforts and how you have performed in your college life throughout. But, yes surely the college gives good platform in form of companies for placements and rest it depends on one's capabilities.
The college has the best crowd if you compare to other DU colleges. I made many great memories. Most of the teachers are kind and sweet. The college is located in Pitampura.
The college infrastructure is excellent. Labs have AC. College area is reconstructing. Its becoming very beautiful. 1st year boys hostel are amazing. We have to share a small room with 1 other. But rooms are comfortable. They are well equipped and have best facilities like lift and games. Cleanliness is well maintained.
The course structure is quite engaging. We get to learn a lot from theoretical lectures and respective labs. The profeesors are also good. They are well experienced in their field and give us various mini projects on every topic. Labs are taken every week and the day is quite hectic but enjoyable.
Placement and job opportunities are really good. 90 out of 100 students gets placed every year from each branch. Various good companies come to our college like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Oracle etc and PSUs like Cdot, Brahmos etc. Companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs also comes for internship and almost 60 out of 100 student gets paid internship in 3rd year.
Sports and lab facilities are good. We have sports building having a big badminton and tennis court. Yoga centre is there. A big ground for outdoor games and a lawn tennis ground. Football playground is under construction. Students from other nits come to our college for inter- nit.
We have at least one event in every month college events are very good ? the organizers provide us the opportunities to participate in the events ... Overall campus life is beautiful ❤️... You will get good friends there and Chandu's canteen is famous for late night
Yes visvesvaraya national Institute of technology having all the neccesat infrastructure, facilities, and equipments and and about class rooms and laboratories, libraries, sports Centre and hostel simply super
I am studying electronics and communication engineering because I am very much interested in communication so I went for electronics subject and I got seat in visvesvaraya national Institute of technology
Placements are too good and if the vnit select the students for placements every student getting selected who are selected by vnit if we talk about packages simply super and average salary for electronics students is 7,00,000
Per senister I am paying 60,000 ruppees and per year 1,20,000 and I am feeling that I am getting my money worth because teaching is too good and class rooms facility is toi good and library, sports ground is also too good
Viscesvaraya national Institute of technology campus life is simply super and campus structure is too good in college students are very much supportive and teachere are very much motivative and supportive
The college has lush green campus and new academic as well as hostel buildings. The whole campus is attractive. The hostels are provided with the good wifi network and many sport facilities like table tennis, carrom and a separate self-study room on specific floor.
The faculties are well experienced and have a deep knowledge of their respective fields. Faculties are very helpful and they are connected with students. The curriculum is updated and labs are provided with sufficient equipments.
College has a good placement rate. Specially compute science students nearly 100% placed and then chemical engineering students followed by mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. While the placement rate for electronic and electrical engineering students in core companies is not so good. The other branches have also good placement rate.
The hostel fees is quite high.
The college campus life is very good and students are engaged in two of its big events ,one aarohi a cultural fest and other axis a technical fest. Interaction with senior and juniors is good. The night canteen life is awesome. The college is located in the central Nagpur and it is safe. Hospitals are located near the college about 10km and also railway station is not too far.
Yes it has very lush green campus and good buildings and much more as it is one of the esteemed college of our country .Overall the hostel and academic buildings are very much appreciative and off course lovable
The teachers are extremely helpful and keep trust on their own. They are very much kind and always there for the needy especially the director is the man on command and he is one of his kind and also very gentle
Very good placement facilities are there.the convocation are the best of their kind it is just awesome college and a very reputed placement status in all the national institutes in india .this is the best college ever
Value for money no doubt i will recommend this one for every jee aspirant that this must be their fist priority as it is the best they could ever get from jee mains as if they are not focussing towards IIT
Campus life here is the only one we could have on this planet..i got much more than life coud ever imagined the way of people living here is giving me a feeling of family and the livelihood we enjoyed the most beautiful time of my life
Overall i am giving a five star rating to this college because i loved it my whole 4 years in the campus and i definately wish u guys to join us and be the part of this wonderful community and then u realize why i am doing suvh comments about this heaven
Vnit has separate building for each department, sports complex , state of the art labs & equipments. Most of the buildings have good internet facility. In our classrooms we have digital teaching boards, adequate seating arrangment, equipments in some of the labs are outdated. First year hostel are newly constructed . Mess is also fine . Older hostels though not as good , have quite spacious rooms & are well kept. We also have a health centre for emergencies. There are facilities for all sports.
Currently studying Chemical Engineering & had to opt for it due to low rank in Jee Mains. Quality of teaching is at par with any other top NITS since the faculties here are well trained & experienced. They are quite helpful if you have any doubts or questions. Yes definetly the curriculum is updated since it is in synchronous with GATE examination. As far as recent developments are concerned they are not included in course. The placement here is good above 80% definetly it readies you for job.
College is very much supportive in placement process & the process is very easy & pleasant for most of the students who have good CGPA & skill sets. Placement percentage varies department wise. Nearly 70-80 % of eligible students are placed every year. In 2019 high package offered was of 22 LPA in non core sector to Chemical Engineering student. Average Package companies offer here are between 5-6 Lakhs per annum.
Every year along with hostel fees it is going to cost any student around 2.5-3 Lakhs. Studying in this college is worth because it is an NIT, and if have good participation in activities in college & decent CGPA then you are mostly probably get going to placed & can have worth of your money.
Campus Life is great since VNIT has a green, pollution free campus within NAGPUR with electric vehicles there to take you anywhere in campus. Activities such as Aarohi, Axis, E-cell events have every year. If you are intrested in robotics you have IVLABS open to you. Students here are inclined towards job, GATE, CAT,GRE exams whereas teachers are experienced & trained. For emergencies it has Health Centre, Police Station, tie with best hospitals in Nagpur.
Any new joining student to VNIT please concerntate on your CGPA, take part in various activities & enjoy in VNIT.
VNIT has a good infrastructure. There are different buildings for each department. Classes are conducted in separate building called Classroom Complex.Library is well maintained. The campus is cleaned everyday. If you want some alone time you can ride your cycle in the campus.
The professors are well qualified and quality teaching is given.Only the programming syllabus is outdated for first year. On first year everyone should learn python but they teach C programming here. The clg has credit system for grading
Placements are good. Many of the seniors I know are placed in a good company. Even we get good internships in 3rd year from companies like amazon and Reliance. Highest package salary was offered to a student from Computer Science dept.
Campus is very good.Though many of them complain it is small but it is the best. Lush green campus.
Hi karan
A 96.34 percentile score in JEE Main Session 1 for a General-EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category candidate likely won't get you admission to NIT Nagpur,
Thanks
Hello,
To get a seat in the ECE stream at VNIT Nagpur as a general category student, you’ll need to aim for a rank within the top 3000-3500 in JEE Mains. The exact score required can vary each year, but generally, scoring around 180-220 marks could help you get close to that rank range.
To be safe, it's always good to aim for a higher score. Keep in mind, competition can vary, so focusing on improving your score as much as possible will give you the best chance.
Hope it helps !
With a percentile score of 98.04 in JEE Main, your chances of getting into VNIT's Electronics branch (HS) look promising.
To give you a better idea, here are some key statistics:
- VNIT's cutoff trends: VNIT's cutoffs for Electronics branch (HS) have been around 97-98 percentile in previous years.
- Seat allocation: VNIT has a total of 115 seats in the Electronics branch (HS), with 55% of seats allocated to Home State (HS) candidates.
Considering these factors, a percentile score of 98.04 should give you a good chance of getting into VNIT's Electronics branch (HS). However, please note that:
- Other factors at play: JoSAA counseling, category-wise seat allocation, and other factors can influence the final seat allocation.
- Cutoffs can vary: Cutoffs can fluctuate from year to year, depending on various factors like the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exam.
