The infrastructure in the chemical engineering department is good. It has all the well-equipped labs and machines to help with your experiments. All the labs and classrooms have 24-hour Wi-Fi and air-conditioned facilities. The library of IIT Kanpur is famous as the PK Kelkar library, which is huge in size and silent. Mess food is better than other foods. They have all the sports and games facilities, which are open all day and night.

The faculty is so helpful here; they will help you every time, everywhere. Faculty members are completely knowledgeable; the syllabus is up-to-date and it is updated every year. The teachers are so lovely and always ready to help you.

Placement from my course like in core is less but yes student apply for non-core jobs they get that easily. Avg package is 12 Lacs. Internship going on as I am in my 3rd year now almost 330 out of 1200 is recruited for the internship. The lowest package is may be 8lakhs.

IIT kanpur has well defined infrastructure. All rooms have smart board with projectors. Labs and library are Full equipped. All the things are well maintained. Living space or hostel are clean and are hygienic.

IIT are known for their placement and college life. Student intake in IIT Kanpur is limited due to which ROI of cse branch is pretty good. placement cell is working constantly to provide a better opportunity to us. average placement of CSE branch is 23lpa.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The lecture halls are big and spacious, with large screens for the professors to use to teach. The library is the go-to place to study before major exams and quizzes and is well-equipped with all the resources. Hostels are decent except for plumbing issues in some areas. Sports facilities are also provided inside the residential halls.

Professors at IITK are highly experienced and qualified, excelling both as educators and professionals. About 90% of UG students in my course were placed. The average package was 32LPA, with a median of 28LPA. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Qualcomm, Amazon, Google, and Goldman Sachs. Students in my course secured internships in companies such as Optiver, Adobe, Samsung, and Barclays.

24*7 Wi-Fi service is available in the college. The labs are properly structured. The classrooms have Wi-Fi accessibility. The library is open till 12 in the night, and during the exams, it is open 24*7. The facilities are also good. The quality of food is pretty good but south Indians have to adjust with North Indian food.

The faculty members of IIT Kanpur are very experienced in their fields. The environment here is research-oriented and a rich culture of innovation is present. The course curriculum is relevant. All courses are electives. We can choose all courses on our own, according to interest and industry preference. Semester exams are difficult. Pass percentage varies from course to course.

Placements of indian institute of technology kanpur is top notch. We are PhD students so they also provides placements for us even we students have to work to invite companies for placement then they come and take .

As one of the oldest Indian Institutes of Technology's (IIT's), it has good facilities and infrastructure available for any course that has been chosen. The facilities of the hostel and mess are also good and well maintained. The quality of the food is also good, but one who is not used to the north Indian style of food may find it difficult, like me.

The faculty and teachers are very helpful but not all of them. There is always some teacher who does not push the students. Most of the professors are well-educated and good. Teaching done on the smart board so teaching quality is very good. Yes, the courses that we have studied can make one 90% ready to join the industry. Semester exam are always very tough in IIT Kanpur and very rigorous.

70% of the students got placed during the placements drive. The lowest offer was 10 Lacs and the highest was 1crore with an average of around 20 LPA by Microsoft, Goldensachs and others. From our course, 30% students got internships. HR, intern, consultation, financial manager, and cyber security were the roles offered.

IIT kanpur has all the facilities and features that exists. The college's infrastructure is as good as any great foreign university. The hostels are very good and maintained in a great condition. The hostel food is also nice.

I am pursuing Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering, started in 2020 and it will get completed in the year 2025. The academics is very strong here at IIT Kanpur. The institute provides everything for the conduction of research.

A masters program at IITK will have a good balance of courses and research work. And IITK has awesome, world class infrastructure for both teaching and research. The research facilities and available equipment make it an ideal place to conduct research in any stream of engineering.

It should be obvious that the academics at IITK is comparable to other top universities in the world. The verbatim is that, "IITK ke academics karne ke baad USA me bhi courses easy lagenge". So, be assured that you would be a well rounded, well educated person upon graduating from here.

The overall placement rate is very good. It would stand higher than 90%. But there is a disparity in the number of core engineering jobs available and the number of students applying for it. So there is a chance that some one may need to switch their career goals while preparing for the placements. But rest assured that whichever path you choose there will be seniors to guide you.

IIT Kanpur, being a top tier university in India, has world class infrastructure facilities. All the lecture halls have boards, projectors, air conditioning, adequate lighting, good seating facilities and good bicycle parking outside it too!!

IIT Kanpur, being a top tier university in India, and among other universities worldwide, has outstanding academics environment. The teacher to student ratio is at par with the top colleges in the world. The quality of education is very high. The curriculum gets updated every decade for appropriate needs of the industry and academia.

IITK is literally the GOD of placements. It has very high rate of placements. Now truth be told, there are less core sector jobs, but, the abundance of non-core and IT jobs cover for it. So, one may need to switch to a profession other than their degree but they will get placed. This is the situation in all the IITs, not just IITK. the placement office tries their best to smoothen this process for the students.

An 8 semester course will cost close to 10 lakhs over 4 years. But, needy students can always secure fee waivers or scholarships. Infact, 95% of my fee was waived! The college is very supportive in that regard. And the return of investment id of course high.

The campus life and living environment at IITK was so beautiful, so elegant, it was just wow. The professors are chill outside of classrooms (not the same inside classrooms!), the seniors are friendly and supportive everywhere. But sometimes the office staff can make you run for your money! But overall it gives so much exposure, freedom that I cherish every moment being there.
