The infrastructure is state of the art. The Lecture Halls are well equipped in terms of acoustics, desks and monitors. The hostel rooms are not the best but comfortable while the amenities are complete. This includes geyser, hot drinking water, washing machine, fridge etc.
I am studying Textile Engineering. The quality of teaching is good but more importantly the peer group discussions are what fuel learnings. The course gets updated with new DE's every now and then which ensures recent developments are included.
The placements are very good. Companies come across all sectors and in big numbers for all sectors. The pay is also competitive and within a sector also there is diversity in JD. The best companies obviously come for placements. The average salary hasn't been disclosed for this year.
The fees is 1 Lac per semester. There is obviously money's worth infact we get more than what we pay for because of the facilities we get at IIT. Compare this to any other college the fees is very high and the facilities and more importantly the peer group and faculty isn't the same.
The campus life is what we will remember IIT Delhi for. The learnings happen on campus and the memories we cherish are also created on campus. Being slightly more specific the hostel Life is fun filled. The campus has good spaces to hang out, eat and discuss. The sports facilities are also good for occasional recreation.
Not really
The academic infra is state of the art. This covers the entire spectrum from classrooms to equipments and technology integration into the curriculum. All the hostels have wifi hot water and all the basic amenities required. The living spaces are clean and are become dirty only because of students.
I am in the Textile Technology branch. The quality of teaching is very good. The curriculum also includes all recent developments. The department electives are constantly updated so one can choose them to both specialize in a particular field as well as be up-to-date with advancements.
The placements of IITD are exceptional if you have put in the effort. The companies come from all sectors and for good roles with good pays for each of them. The official percentage this year was lower owing to bad market conditions. The highest package is not a correct indicator of placement success as it's dependant on which field you choose and there isn't uniformity across sectors.
Very low fees compared to any of private institution. Also, there are various opportunities for scholarships for financially struggling students. Scholarships can also be attained from good academic record in college.
Extremely fun and adventure filled. The major growth which is caused by interacting with peers discussions on various topics ranging from tech, business, product, finance etc. occurs in the campus during chilling, meals etc. The worst thing is the fact the discipline gets ruined.
The college has great infrastructure. The greatest thing is the Lecture Hall Complex in which most classes occur. Each classroom has a projector and white and blackboard to teach. Each of the rooms is air-conditioned and rooms are well-lit. The library is very huge and has lots of books. Sports Facilities are also great and provide a lot of sports equipment.
I am studying Computer Science and Engineering. The quality of teaching Is great and professors put in a lot of effort. Yes the curriculum is updated and professors try to incorporate new technological advances into the curriculum .
The quality of placements has been great at the college. Many of the seniors got placed last placement season too. Each branch enjoys many companies. I guess the average salary offered was 12 LPA. The placement process is generally easy with a good portal to help us during the placement season.
The one-sem fee is roughly 1 L. Yes, the facilities which are being provided to me for the above fees are great and worth the money. This means all the labs equipment faculty library all of these facilities are worth it for the money I pay to the college.
Campus life is Great at IIT Delhi. The campus is very safe, and one can quickly go around the campus any time of the day. One can even enjoy the campus at 4 in the morning with no fear of security. The campus also provides a vast number of clubs for an individual to take part in and socialize.
Delhi University colleges are divided into two campuses, the North Campus and the South Campus. As per research North Campus is better than South Campus due to following reasons; 1. The north campus has some of the best colleges in India, including Miranda House College.
DU has given me confidence and taught me to never stop yearning for knowledge. It is not an exaggeration to say that every single day I learn something tangibly new and important. My advise to prospective students is to embrace the experience as it will enrich your view towards a diverse culture of Indi
The college has a placement cell that organizes campus selection drives and provides training to students in job-related skills. The cell also conducts seminars and offers internships with stipends, with over 200+ students being selected.
Every middle class family affordable
Outstanding
College infrastructure is great with new buildings being constructed. It had recently developed a research and innovation park and Mittal sports complex with advanced construction. Now, two more new buildings are to be inaugurated which have new offices and highly equipped labs.
Great academic structure is present with option with students to choose electives according to interests. Quality of teachers is great with some of very renowned researchers present on campus with great teaching skills.
IIT Delhi has showed great management in placements this year receive more number of offers than other IITs despite this being one of the worst years in terms of availability of jobs. The placement cell really did great efforts for making it happen.
I would say it definitely value for money, not more not less. It gives you a unique experience which no other colleges might give you. The kind of mentorship it gives you and motivation it gives you to do something of your own is something I appreciate the most.
The campus life gives you a lot of learning for life and provides you with connections that are one of the best in the country. It has been hardly the case that anyone speaks ill about IIT after graduating from here.
As it is an old institution, the infrastructure is a bit old which requires renovation though the process has already started and soon the whole campus will be renovated including all the hostels etc.
The academics here is top notch. The best in the country including the research labs of the highest quality. The curriculum is well focused on the main degree as well as minor subjects as well for overall learning.
Placements are one of the best in the country with all the top MNCs visiting the campus for both internships and placements offering very high stipends and country best pacakages. There are both domestic and international opportunities.
.
The college has a vast library with a huge collection of articles and books based on their content. Being one of the oldest colleges in India, IIT DELHI has maintained its classrooms, corridors, auditoriums, and laboratories. Sports facilities are also available. Every hostel is provided with a basketball court, pool table, gym, etc.
I am studying civil engineering because its was my childhood dream to become a civil engineer who designs, supervises, and helps in maintaining infrastructures. The college has a moderate schedule with around 5-15 lectures per week. Teachers help us a lot by teaching through modern techniques.
You can do internships from any year but the college placement is done in the second last semester only for 4th and 5th year students. Google, Meta, Amazon, Obtiber, Graviton, and many consultancy firms came up with thousands of offers and the highest was 2.6 crores. Tech and consultancy firms are the lead runners.
It cost me around 8-8.6 lakhs p.a. The money spent on my education is worth it because the teachers are well-qualified, most of them are Ph.D. holders. They focus on how much the students can learn by applying knowledge rather than teaching all things in the class. They also provide written notes.
A person will have a busy calendar because there are multiple events held every year. Low attendance attracts penalties. There are different sports and coaches are provided for them. The college has its own IIT hospital and a pharmacy which is available 24*7.
Experience at college have both positive and negative aspects let's focus on positive first it gave us new direction to lead life learn and enhance our own personality learning new things each day. Managing ourselves. Negative would be long and continuous lectures assignments, society event's. Traveling hours
Academic studies at its place play individual role but with academics there other things also which an individual is experiencing and living in it. Academics are part of life not whole life of an individual.
Placements at colleges play an important role. Getting selected is one of the biggest task for one . Interview rounds are quite tough and after one is being selected it has both positive and negative advantages.
Money yes plays the most significant role we are anxious to spend our savings while we are hanging out. Spending money on ourselves too. Money teaches us the value of each thing .
Campus Life is yes full of ups and downs . Both fun and adventure in life at the same. Time spent at campus is just speechless which will be remembered throughout the life.

This college has an amazing faculty member in the field of mechanical engineering. It will shape and sharpen you to be the best version of yourself. My college is updated with all the curriculums including various fields. IIT Delhi contributes to a vibrant campus life.
The quality of placements from my college is outstanding. About 70% of the students are placed at top recruiters like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. The highest package was about 4 crores per annum, 7 lakhs per annum as the minimum, and 25 lakh per annum. To be honest, my college is very supportive and it also helps me to take risks and opportunities to challenge myself.
My course costs me 2.6 lakh per year. I do think studying at this college makes a good investment as it is worth it.
IIT Delhi is considered one of the best IITs in India. It has a good infrastructure with all the facilities. If you ask me there are no bad qualities of this college. The tech fest (TRYST) of this campus will amaze you with it's robotics and AI ideas and drones. The professors out here are very supportive and are good at guiding graduates and they are even known as cutting-edge research analysts including associate professors.
It was my dream to get into this college. My advice to the young buds of this society is that if you are eager and crazy about something, you should put your 100% to achieve it. Life gives us a lot of surprises, some good some bad but you need to know what is worth for you. IIT Delhi has given me a life that I never expected to be true. I had loved my life here and I have such amazing friends that make me whole.
The infrastructure of the college has been fanatically beautiful and sober. the colour coordination among the buildings is great.there is greenary and clean campus.there is no garbage or litter. A peaceful place.
I am studying civil engineering and the college has the best teachers with the best faculty..It is updated with all the recent developments and progress made in the field..it makes a person job ready with practical sessions.
Since the past 5 years the college is giving good placements to the ranks holders better than most of the renowned colleges. With the highest salary of 50 lakhs per annum it gave placements to 80 % of the candidates.
The course costed around 4 to 5 lakhs a year.and with scholarship I got it in around 3 lakhs. The money was worth it.The college is very serious in academic progress of its students. The money of my parents get invested right
